About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as Senior Counsel in the growing legal department, reporting to a Deputy General Counsel
Support the company’s global operations and procurement functions
Draft and negotiate vendor and procurement agreements, including technology agreements, software licenses, SaaS and business tooling agreements, enterprise systems and platforms, marketing and event agreements, facilities-related agreements, professional services agreements, and AI tools
Work with internal teams on vendor governance, policies, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Negotiate privacy, information security, regulatory, insurance, and data protection aspects of procurement agreements
Collaborate with legal and non-legal functional teams on procurement issues
Advise on contract disputes and issues arising from vendor agreements
Develop and refine procurement processes, standard terms, templates, and playbooks for a high-volume contracting environment
Provide legal and strategic business advice and ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

JD with at least one state bar membership and eligible to practice in your state of residence
At least seven (7) years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial transactions
Experience supporting procurement agreements is preferred
Strong work ethic and self-starter, with a growth mindset
Flexibility in working hours in a global enterprise
Detail-oriented; ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects; strong project management and organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Strong personal communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent judgment, strong business orientation, and ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice within business objectives
Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills; ability to build trust and strong relationships with procurement and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience supporting a high-growth infrastructure SaaS company
Track record of performing with a sense of urgency and excelling in a fast-paced environment
