About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Solvista Health's primary community liaison and ambassador
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, schools, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders
- Lead community outreach, education, and engagement activities to increase awareness of behavioral health services
- Represent Solvista Health at community meetings, coalitions, public forums, and outreach events
- Support Community Needs Assessment priorities and initiatives designed to improve access to care
- Lead the development, coordination, and facilitation of the Member Advisory Council
- Recruit and support council members and facilitate meetings to gather feedback
- Communicate Member Advisory Council recommendations to leadership and incorporate them into quality improvement and strategic planning
- Communicate organizational improvements made in response to member and stakeholder feedback
- Lead client advocacy efforts and champion person-centered care
- Support collection, review, and reporting of client concerns, complaints, and grievances
- Identify trends in client experience data and collaborate with leadership to improve access, engagement, and service quality
- Partner with the CQI Lead to analyze community feedback, satisfaction surveys, and advocacy activities
- Promote awareness of client rights, grievance processes, available services, and community resources
- Ensure client and community voice is incorporated into organizational planning and service improvement
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Community Liaison/Health Navigators
- Oversee outreach, engagement, and navigation activities
- Support staff in developing community partnerships and resolving barriers to care
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to identify service gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in leadership meetings, community meetings, and grant-related activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, social work, public health, healthcare administration, communications, community development, or a related field required
- Three years of experience in community engagement, advocacy, behavioral health, healthcare, public health, or a related field
- Experience building community partnerships and facilitating stakeholder groups
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and facilitation abilities
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems, community resources, and person-centered care principles
- Ability to analyze feedback and translate findings into meaningful improvement efforts
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with quality improvement, client advocacy, or grant-funded programs preferred
