About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct and coordinate warehouse and administrative functions to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and quality customer service
- Participate in recruitment and selection processes
- Develop direct staff through training and performance management initiatives
- Manage inventory movement and audits
- Coordinate inventory preparation, RF-system cycle counts, vendor returns, product displays, and promotional materials for counter sales
- Oversee debit memo processes with accounting to expedite past dues
- Manage cash and credit transactions, customer credit approvals, pricing contracts, and job queue management
- Ensure appropriate response times to incoming calls, emails, and other communications
- Maintain customer relationships and trust through follow-up and problem resolution
- Assist with branch safety activities, facility security, and building management
- Report accidents promptly with HR guidance
- Support other branches in securing customer orders in collaboration with Sales and Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of progressive operations, distribution, warehouse, or branch leadership experience
- Electrical or industrial distribution experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success improving safety, inventory accuracy, service levels, productivity, or operating consistency
- Experience leading and developing teams through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability
- Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, operational metrics, and expense management
- Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Clear, concise communication and ability to build trust across functions, branches, customers, and suppliers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems used to manage inventory and operational performance
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to travel occasionally with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
