About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct and coordinate warehouse and administrative functions to promote efficient, effective service and quality customer service
Participate in recruitment and selection processes
Develop direct staff through training and performance management initiatives
Manage inventory movement and audits
Coordinate inventory preparation, RF-system cycle counts, vendor returns, product displays, and promotional materials for counter sales
Oversee debit memo processes and work with accounting to expedite past dues
Manage cash and credit transactions, customer credit approvals, pricing contracts, and job queue management
Ensure appropriate response times to incoming calls, emails, and other communications
Maintain customer relationships and trust through follow-up and problem resolution
Assist with branch safety activities, facility security, and building management
Report accidents promptly with HR guidance
Support other branches in securing customer orders with the Sales team and Managers
Evaluate and identify process improvements to enhance branch operations
Focus on warehouse and administrative functions and key branch financial measurements

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience in business, sales, or operations management
Experience applying management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation, sales forecasting, and coordination of people and resources
Experience in the electrical distribution industry is desired
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales and Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and job experience as determined by the company
Demonstrated customer and vendor relationship building and maintenance skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to plan and schedule the work of others
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in general computer applications and Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
Strong customer service orientation
