About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive incoming materials and deliver them to stock locations and/or production areas
Assist the Production/Inventory Manager with warehouse optimization projects
Package and prepare finished products for shipping
Set up and schedule finished-product shipments
Provide completed shipment information to the operations team for tracking
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
Complete work promptly and according to Power Center quality standards
Record damaged or defective materials
Drive company trucks carefully and comply with traffic laws and safety protocols
Provide associates with possible solutions or appropriate contact information when problems arise
Report customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager
Load and unload materials from trucks accurately, efficiently, and safely using proper equipment such as forklifts
Sweep floors, remove trash, and maintain a tidy warehouse

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be 21 years of age or older
Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Ability to use push carts and rolling ladders
Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
Ability to unload material at customer sites, including heavy and bulky items
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
Basic problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to comply with traffic laws, legal speed limits, safety protocols, and warehouse safety procedures
