About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support assigned onboarding hotels with revenue generation, commercial execution, and business readiness before and after opening
  • Partner with the Franchise Onboarding team to build pre-opening and immediate post-opening readiness across sales planning, marketing, revenue channels, and brand programs
  • Ensure pre-opening sales, marketing, and revenue development Critical Path deliverables are completed on time
  • Develop and deliver playbooks, guides, and self-service resources
  • Establish scalable routines supporting hotel stabilization and transition to long-term RDO support
  • Conduct new hotel market assessments and capture business intelligence to identify prioritized sales opportunities
  • Coach property-level teams on sales strategies, brand programs, and revenue opportunities
  • Deploy tactical sales plans and revenue-generating tools
  • Serve as primary contact before and immediately after conversion
  • Partner with the Onboarding team to optimize support models and conduct regular cadence calls with assigned hotels
  • Leverage Sonesta brand tools and resources to support revenue development and performance growth
  • Inform revenue generation teams about new hotel market attributes, business drivers, and prioritized revenue opportunities
  • Accelerate marketing and distribution levers and optimize internal processes for early performance gains
  • Package insights, tactics, and status for internal Leadership stakeholders
  • Periodically assess assigned priority hotel markets and tactics for revenue improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Seven or more years of professional multi-unit hotel and/or above-property experience in sales operations, revenue generation, distribution, and/or commercial operations leadership required
  • Hotel pre-opening, conversion, and branded franchise hotel experience required
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence without direct control
  • Proficient in MS Office, Agency360, STR, and Delphi
  • Highly organized self-starter able to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and multitask across disciplines and time zones
  • Proven ability to drive processes and projects across technical, distribution, revenue, sales, marketing, and operational activations for new hotels
  • Ability to manage dependencies, track critical milestones, and ensure on-time execution
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a continuous-improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to identify efficient ways to accomplish work, remove barriers, and socialize best practices
  • Proven track record of driving change, removing barriers, and delivering measurable outcomes in fast-growth organizations
  • Ability to travel to multiple hotel locations by car or air and work at locations outside the office
  • Up to 40% travel, including some international travel, required
