About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations
  • Ensure proper specimen handling and transport
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather and traffic conditions
  • Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
  • Work Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, 3pm–9pm
  • Handle incidental exposure to Protected Health Information in accordance with applicable standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record for the past three years
  • Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine road hazards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision
  • Physical capability of light to medium lifting up to 50 lbs
  • 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes is a bonus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a bonus
  • Ability to handle incidental exposure to Protected Health Information and comply with privacy, confidentiality, and security standards
