About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies supporting organizational goals and employee engagement
  • Lead and manage employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, documentation, and recommendations
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance improvement, and policy interpretation
  • Administer and support HR programs, policies, and procedures for consistency and compliance
  • Collaborate with leaders on job descriptions and organizational structures
  • Facilitate performance management, including coaching managers on feedback and development planning
  • Support onboarding initiatives
  • Respond to employee inquiries about policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Monitor HR trends and metrics, conduct audits, and prepare reports
  • Recommend and implement HR service delivery improvements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Advise leadership on risk mitigation
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including employee relations and investigations
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (healthcare preferred)
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification a plus
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Periodic travel within the division territory
