About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform benefit deduction audits with PlanSource on a quarterly and ad hoc basis for the U.S.
- Pull and prepare payroll, benefits, and compensation reports for Finance and Total Rewards teams globally
- Conduct payroll-related audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance globally
- Review payroll audit trails and preview files before payroll processing
- Provide backup and support coverage for Payroll Specialists during leave or holidays in EMEA and APJ
- Support the Payroll Analyst with India Payroll
- Support global payroll projects as needed
- Participate in data review and validation with UKG during the Global Payroll Implementation
- Organize payroll folders and files for proper documentation and accessibility
- Organize, update, and help create instruction manuals, tips, and reference resources
- Maintain and update payroll “Toolboxes” for each country
- Complete additional payroll-related tasks as assigned
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding time-off balances
- Assist employees with navigation and basic questions in UKG and the Employee Resource Center
- Provide year-end statements, pay stubs, and other payroll documents upon request
- Monitor the payroll inbox, assign inquiries to appropriate team members, and follow up for timely resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- 3-5 years payroll experience required
- India payroll knowledge required (not expert but basic knowledge)
- US payroll knowledge preferred or a plus
- EMEA and/or APJ payroll knowledge a plus
- UKG experience a plus
