About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans
- Drive projects through all construction phases, including scheduling, budgets, and resource management
- Complete job site walkouts and facilitate project meetings
- Meet customer deadlines while maintaining high quality
- Manage daily debriefing and billing activities for internal field employees
- Coordinate Zayo emergency outage dispatches
- Track projects from assignment through completion and invoicing
- Verify employee hours and production
- Collect and review required documentation
- Ensure accurate billing backup
- Maintain project and outage trackers
- Prepare billing packages
- Follow up on outstanding tasks
- Work with field personnel, supervisors, and management to ensure timely project closeout, accurate billing, and efficient operational support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Safety is part of day-to-day work
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- Ability to figure out difficult problems and use a hands-on approach
- Interest in long-term projects
- Willingness to work hands-on with the team
- Interest in learning the telecom construction trade
- Enjoyment of problem-solving and troubleshooting
