About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Conduct sanity testing on the current version of the system
  • Create JIRA cards based on Gap Analysis
  • Verify backlogs based on raised JIRA cards
  • Define backlog severity and address priority based on deadlines/timelines
  • Project the effort needed to accomplish backlog testing
  • Create test cases based on client specifications
  • Verify JIRA cards ready for QA and tag them according to test results, linking JIRA cards to test cases
  • Conduct sanity testing in the live environment to verify fixes/changes were deployed properly
  • Perform API testing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years’ experience in a Technical QA Role
  • Experience with Automation Testing
  • Experience with API Testing
  • Experience working with an offshore team
  • Experience with Various QA Tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Zephyr would be a huge plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent Documentation Experience
