Senior Account Executive

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate revenue by representing Sourcewell's Enterprise Solution team
- Reach profit and margin goals through agency account development
- Develop, manage, retain, and grow assigned agency accounts
- Build and manage relationships with key agency decision-makers and influencers
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for existing accounts
- Identify complex standard solutions, quantities, and product configurations that meet agency needs
- Present solution recommendations and explain alignment with agency objectives
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations to agency decision-makers and influencers
- Set objectives for calls and meetings and assess agency interest and clarification needs
- Collaborate with colleagues on internal communications and external relationships
- Identify potential accounts through referrals, recommendations, research, and events
- Enter researched and directly gathered client information into the CRM system
- Identify and escalate policy, procedure, regulatory, or conduct-code noncompliance
- Participate in assessment, development planning, training, coaching, conferences, and ongoing education
- Represent Government Accounts at internal and external meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field, OR a combination of post-secondary training, professional education, and related experience equivalent to four (4) years
- Four (4) years of demonstrated district-level K–12 business administration/operational leadership experience involving budgeting, procurement, or vendor management, or other directly related experience
- Experience working with or within district-level K–12 business administration/operational leadership involving budgeting, procurement, or vendor management
- Experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management focused on K–12 district clients
- Must be able to meet travel requirements of approximately fifteen (15) times per year
- Occasional travel to Staples, Minnesota for meetings, professional development, or team activities
- Must comply with Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures
