  • Design and deliver class instruction through instructional plans, learning activities, and approved course delivery

  • Promote the stature of academic programs, departments, and colleges while following university administration mandates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • DNP or PhD in Nursing with FNP certification required
  • One to five years’ experience in instruction or formalized education, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution
  • Experience as an FNP strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations
  • Outstanding conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills
  • Computer-based skills, including software, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to hold required office hours and respond to student questions and administration within the required response time
  • Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format, working online with students five of seven days per online week
  • Willingness to attend meetings as required by the respective department
  • Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred
