About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee day-to-day operations within the shipping department
- Manage packaging and delivery of healthcare products
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping tasks
- Print shipping labels and package prescriptions with precision and speed
- Maintain a steady supply of envelopes, labels, ice packs, and other essential shipping materials
- Prepare ice packs by freezing them in advance for safe pharmaceutical product transit
- Safely and efficiently load and unload pallets
- Assemble syringes and swabs in ziplock bags according to prescribed guidelines
- Assist in waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in the shipping area
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience operating a pallet jack
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and various tasks
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
- Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
