About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee operations and financial performance of multiple foodservice accounts across the Western Division
  • Provide direct oversight and support to on-site Food Service Directors/Managers
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, procedures, food quality, safety, sanitation, and service requirements
  • Monitor operational performance, identify improvements, and implement solutions
  • Conduct regular site visits, build relationships, and coach on-site teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client contractual obligations
  • Oversee implementation of new regional programs and initiatives
  • Manage budgets, financial monitoring, variance analysis, revenue, cost control, and profitability
  • Develop action plans to address financial challenges and participate in regional and company-wide financial goal development
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Serve as an escalation point for client concerns and ensure timely resolution
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and strengthen partnerships
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop regional Food Service Directors/Managers
  • Foster teamwork, engagement, accountability, and professional development
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities
  • Participate in proposals and presentations for potential clients
  • Support existing-client retention through exceptional service and relationship management
  • Prepare and present regional performance reports to senior leadership
  • Maintain communication with on-site teams, corporate departments, and clients
  • Ensure timely and accurate information flow throughout the region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field, or ten (10) years of experience in the foodservice industry related to a multi-unit supervision position
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience in the food service contract industry, with multi-site responsibility
  • Proven track record of successfully managing operations, achieving financial targets, and building strong client relationships
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with POS systems and Production systems such as Parsley preferred
  • Participation in industry-related professional organizations preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel an average of 70%+ of the year or 250 working days
