About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a small team
  • Further develop collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimize the consolidation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Support the Group’s integrated planning and forecasting processes
  • Provide financial support to smaller Group companies and serve as a business partner/controller
  • Develop analyses and commentary on business performance
  • Prepare and clearly explain budget variances as a basis for business decisions
  • Prepare rolling liquidity forecasts
  • Provide data for strategic discussions with executive management
  • Establish and further develop financial close and planning processes in the new consolidation tool
  • Integrate the tool with existing ERP systems
  • Further develop cross-functional KPI monitoring for strategic and operational management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree with a focus on controlling/finance or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in controlling within an international manufacturing company
  • Strong knowledge of controlling and German GAAP (HGB)/IFRS
  • Confident handling of both external and internal accounting
  • Strong affinity for IT and technology
  • Experience with SAP CO/FI
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office
  • Highly proficient professional communication skills in German and English
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processes and business relationships
  • Willingness to play a key role in driving change initiatives
  • Strong numerical aptitude with logical and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a strong team spirit
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to work
