About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead market thought leadership on AI and digital engineering consulting
- Share perspectives with clients, at industry events, and internally
- Join client conversations early and help scope ambiguous problems
- Co-create solutions and shape proposals with creative input
- Personally lead complex or high-stakes opportunities and teach team members throughout the deal process
- Partner closely with the Solutions Consulting function, which reports separately to the CEO
- Coach the consulting team and develop early-career hires into independent consultants
- Participate in hiring decisions based on business needs
- Monitor and improve practice health and team structure
- Report to the COO, who owns delivery
- Focus on increasing the percentage of revenue that is AI-related and/or outcome-priced
- Build a management layer beneath the approximately 30-person consulting team
- Contribute to team bonus plan design and incentive alignment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Current point of view on AI and digital engineering trends
- Credibility to lead client discussions and represent the company externally
- Comfort building trust with senior stakeholders from mid-market leadership through Fortune 50 executives
- Experience shaping deals and solving ambiguous client problems
- Genuine interest in teaching and developing others while working live deals
- Operational fluency with hiring decisions, team structure, and practice health
- Excitement to explore, adopt, and evangelize AI tools and methodologies
- Experience in AI or a proven track record of rapidly learning and mentoring others on emerging technology
- Ability to travel up to approximately 25%
