About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote Spring Health's mental health services to federal entities
  • Identify and prioritize target agencies, departments, and opportunities within the federal government
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, agency leaders, and decision-makers
  • Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to network and promote Spring Health’s services
  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to securing federal contracts and achieving sales and revenue goals
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends
  • Potentially hold a small geography for the SLED portfolio
  • Meet and exceed annual pipeline generation targets
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets
  • Report to the VP Sales, Public Sector
  • Occasional travel may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a federal sales role
  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in securing government contracts and partnerships
  • Strong understanding of government processes, regulations, and legislative dynamics
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • Deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health
  • Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales
  • Entrepreneurial focus with determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Humility, resourcefulness, directness, ambition, extreme comfortability with change
  • Emotional intelligence and an empathetic nature
