About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-site support to managers, people teams, and members at the customer location in Huntsville, Alabama, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time
  • Provide management consultation to enhance employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness
  • Assess referred employees and determine Service Agreements and Recovery Plans
  • Monitor engagement in mandatory Drug Free Workplace referrals
  • Deliver critical incident response services
  • Conduct trainings and facilitate Spring Health benefit promotion events
  • Develop expert-level understanding of the customer benefit ecosystem and support programs
  • Provide solution-focused employee mental health counseling, consultation, support, and resource connection
  • Complete internal training and assignments and attend Clinical Team meetings
  • Follow policies and maintain confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards
  • Assess risk and manage member and organizational crises through in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow-up
  • Identify and resolve barriers or disruptions to care with leadership support
  • Maintain accurate documentation meeting risk management and regulatory requirements
  • Report to the Spring Health Clinical Manager
  • Perform other responsibilities supporting the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist with minimum of 3 years experience
  • Independent licensure required
  • Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Alabama required
  • Applicants with an Alabama license must be open to obtaining Florida licensure
  • EAP experience preferred
  • SAP qualification preferred
  • CEAP certification preferred
  • Supervisory experience and/or experience working with management and human resource professionals preferred
  • Substance use disorder experience preferred
  • Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources
  • Tech and computer savvy; comfortable adopting new technologies and platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Training and experience in management consultation, management referrals, critical incident response, and EAP presentations
  • Training and experience in evidence-based modalities, including short-term, solution-focused therapy
  • Comfortable providing safety planning and intervention for higher-risk clients
  • Commitment to timely, high-quality documentation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team and other providers
