About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow an assigned U.S. territory for engineered HVAC and building automation solutions
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with Neptronic and SPX Technologies commercial objectives
  • Grow humidification sales across commercial, institutional, industrial and technically demanding HVAC applications
  • Develop and support OEM partnerships and integrate Neptronic technologies into manufacturers’ products and systems
  • Expand opportunities for electric duct heaters, CMUs, controls, actuators and actuated valves
  • Identify new markets, applications, accounts and strategic commercial and industrial opportunities
  • Build relationships with distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, consulting engineers, contractors, system integrators, OEMs and other partners
  • Develop HVAC and building controls distribution networks and support channel partners
  • Track distributor performance against monthly and annual sales objectives and provide support to achieve targets
  • Increase Neptronic product specifications in projects with consulting engineers and designers
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations, training and product demonstrations
  • Manage opportunities from specification and business development through quotation, project support and long-term account growth
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and deliver sales forecasts, competitive insights and market intelligence
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, Marketing and senior management
  • Identify cross-selling, integrated solution and collaboration opportunities across SPX businesses
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, customer meetings and technical seminars

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, identify opportunities and grow markets or territories in a technical or commercial environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, channel partners and commercial decision-makers
  • Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
  • Strong organizational skills, accountability, disciplined follow-up and ability to work independently
  • Prior HVAC industry experience preferred, particularly with humidification, air handling equipment, building automation, electric duct heaters, controls, actuators, valves, OEM sales or engineered products
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), BACnet and related applications preferred
  • Technical curiosity and ability to quickly understand engineered products and clearly communicate customer value
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, territory ownership and skill in developing long-term relationships
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities beyond a single product line and collaborate across the SPX Technologies portfolio
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills, strategic perspective and willingness to learn complementary technologies
  • Engineering or other technical education preferred, especially mechanical, electrical, building systems, controls or a related discipline
  • Equivalent relevant technical knowledge, industry experience and demonstrated commercial achievements will also be considered
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned U.S. territory
  • Willingness to travel periodically to Neptronic headquarters in Montreal for training, meetings and customer activities
