About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, enhance, and streamline secure and scalable AI and Agentic AI solutions for the Arizona Department of Economic Security
Work with the internal AI product management team, vendor teams, and development staff
Translate business and technical requirements into production-ready AI solutions
Create technical specifications, architecture, and design documentation
Exercise independent judgment in AI solution architecture and implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in AI architecture
AI development with Agentic AI and Azure OpenAI
Experience with data ingestion, LLM, ML, RAG, and human-in-the-loop workflows
Ability to design and implement AI Agentic Solutions
Experience creating technical specifications, architecture, and design documentation
Experience with .NET (C#, VB.NET), HTML, JavaScript, and advanced automation tools including OCR, IDP, and AI/ML
Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred: Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, .NET (C#, VB.NET), HTML/JavaScript, REST & SOAP Services, and OCR
Local to Phoenix, Arizona; hybrid availability required
Current U.S. work authorization status must be provided
