About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions
Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with architects and developers to align solutions with business needs
Create test cases, validate functionality, and coordinate user acceptance testing
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies and propose mitigation strategies
Serve as primary point of contact for business units during project execution
Facilitate workshops, demos, and status meetings
Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Mentor junior Business Analysts and share best practices
Contribute to documentation and requirements management standards and templates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Only current Ohio residents
Mid-level Business Analyst experience
Strong analytical skills
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
Excellent communication abilities
Agile experience preferred
SQL knowledge preferred
Experience with requirements analysis and documentation
Experience with solution design and validation
Experience with stakeholder engagement
Experience with process improvement and mentorship
