About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with architects and developers to align solutions with business needs
- Create test cases and validate functionality
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies
- Serve as primary point of contact for business units during project execution
- Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and status meetings
- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and share best practices
- Contribute to standards and templates for requirements and documentation management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Business Analyst or similar experience
- Strong understanding of business process modeling
- Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Azure DevOps, and/or Jira
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management and requirements traceability
