About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operational planning and delivery of national and international MICE projects
  • Planning and organizing meetings, incentive trips, conferences, events, and accompanying programs from initial inquiry through execution
  • Developing target-group-specific programs and service packages
  • Obtaining quotes and preparing customized concepts and proposals
  • Coordinating hotels, DMCs, venues, transfer companies, guides, restaurants, technical service providers, and other suppliers
  • Organizing participant lists, room allocations, transfers, event schedules, and special services
  • Monitoring option deadlines, booking status, project deadlines, and service confirmations
  • Ensuring complete, timely, and quality-compliant project delivery
  • Communicating with B2B partners and suppliers throughout project execution
  • Reviewing incoming invoices, documenting project progress, and conducting structured post-project reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree, for example in tourism, event management, or business administration; vocational training in tourism or business administration; or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in MICE, events, or business travel
  • Experience planning and operationally delivering meetings, incentive trips, conferences, or events
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects, schedules, and contacts simultaneously
  • Sound commercial understanding and confidence handling proposals, project budgets, and cost controls
  • Structured, dependable, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility
  • High level of service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with international business partners and service providers
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Confident user of standard MS Office applications
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel and support projects and events on site
  • Resilience and flexibility
