About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and maintain master data elements, including item files, contract data, and price lists
  • Build and maintain contracts, item files, vendor files, transmissions, and pricing in the database
  • Follow system-wide processes to minimize non-file purchases through reporting and item file management
  • Review and analyze materials data for consistency and accuracy
  • Investigate and reconcile pricing and other irregularities and identify results that do not meet standard thresholds
  • Investigate pricing discrepancies by reviewing contracts and initiating credit requests with vendors
  • Coordinate data elements integrating with clinical and financial information systems
  • Support process owners, health ministries, and associates by answering questions and resolving issues or errors
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve process efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education
  • Three years' experience
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and other basic functions
  • Knowledge of SAP Master Data is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills, particularly via email or a ticketing system
  • Must reside in AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WV, or WI
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0–25 lbs.
  • Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Ability to use vision and depth perception for near and far distances and distinguish colors
  • Ability to use hearing and speech for oral communication and hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip
  • Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs.
  • Ability to rarely climb
  • No professional license or certification required
