About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze patient experience feedback, survey scores, comments, focus groups, advisory councils, complaint information, direct observations, and manager/staff perspectives
  • Coach leaders, managers, frontline staff, and selected departments on improving patient experiences
  • Develop and implement customer service and patient experience improvement strategies
  • Use patient and physician experience metrics to develop programs, services, training, coaching, and improvement tactics
  • Build reporting mechanisms and communication pathways for targeted improvement initiatives
  • Develop and deliver in-services, educational programs, targeted coaching, and training
  • Facilitate timely, respectful, and compassionate resolution of patient complaints and grievances
  • Provide patient experience and service recovery referrals to appropriate stakeholders
  • Escalate defined issues to responsible parties within established timeframes
  • Serve as a liaison and consultant to committees, senior leadership, ministry leaders, and teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Five years' experience
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Ability to share information through oral communication
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • No professional license or certification required
  • Ability to perform the listed physical requirements, including lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally
