Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A 2-year work agreement is required upon acceptance
  • Associates are expected to maintain a 40-hour work week throughout the two-year agreement period
  • Must meet on-call requirement of 30-minute response time
  • Must have Compact/Multi-state License before the PNF class start date
  • Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice in the state where work is being performed
  • If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence
  • Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses
  • Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned
  • Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration
  • Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures
  • Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area
  • Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
