About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and implement data models using statistical and machine learning expertise
  • Specify, monitor, gather, analyze, and report metrics for Product initiatives, including revenue, reach, engagement, conversion rates, and web behavior
  • Perform data mining and analysis from organizational databases to improve product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies
  • Support implementation and maintenance of digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and DTM
  • Define implementation requirements and functional/tagging specification documents with business analysts
  • Maintain documentation through Adobe Analytics SDR (Solutions Design Reference)
  • Implement digital analytics and insights best practices across products
  • Develop, customize, and troubleshoot events and tags using JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS
  • Implement analytics tracking code and assist with quality assurance across web properties
  • Design and develop data visualizations using Tableau and similar tools
  • Coordinate with Product and digital marketing teams on metrics, tagging, and taxonomy
  • Establish and support analytic standards, best practices, and testing strategies cross-functionally
  • Educate teams through training materials, standards documentation, and regular analytics training sessions
  • Identify improvements to digital analytics front-end implementation using internal and external data
  • Identify online data collection issues and work with development and product teams to resolve them
  • Mentor entry-level analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ year's experience
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Digital Data domain
  • Experience analyzing and developing actionable insights for digital products and experiences
  • Strong communication skills to translate data and insights into a performance data story that will inform strategy and optimization
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for analysis, validation, and reporting
  • Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity; comfortable working with large data sets across multiple data sources
  • Experience in website tagging and conversion path/journey tracking
  • Building data queries in SQL is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience using analytics tools to drive business decisions
  • Deep understanding of tagging structure, set-up, and functional capabilities
  • Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes
  • Ability to use strong baselines and accurately determine cause and effect relations
  • Understanding of statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, and development and evaluation data sets
  • Track record of discovering hidden patterns in data and conducting error/deviation analysis
  • Experience with statistical modelling / machine learning
  • Foundational understanding of experimentation or A/B testing concepts, including hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and interpretation of results
  • Working knowledge of digital analytics measurement concepts, including events, dimensions, conversion, engagement, segmentation, persistence, attribution, baselines, and trend analysis
  • Working understanding of data layers and Adobe Launch or Tags
  • Ability to read analytics requirements and support validation through browser developer tools
  • Advanced implementation coding is not required
