About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for digital experimentation and decision science
  • Lead the end-to-end experimentation process, including identifying and sizing opportunities, defining key decisions, selecting success metrics and testing methodologies, and translating results into recommendations and future testing roadmaps
  • Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of digital experiments optimizing donor and supporter engagement and conversion across digital channels and platforms
  • Establish and lead governance, training, processes, and support to foster experimentation and data-driven decision-making
  • Identify learning needs and train internal users on statistical methodologies and experimentation best practices
  • Lead experimentation tools and technology operations, partnering with Product on capabilities, enhancements, best practices, and use cases
  • Lead defining, hypothesizing, testing, evaluating, reporting, and implementing digital experiments
  • Develop statistical insight and decision-science practices
  • Manage centralized experimentation resources, templates, and repositories
  • Partner with product teams to build educational curriculum and apply experimentation tools and techniques

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field and 5+ years of direct experience strategically supporting scaled testing, experimentation, and decision science within a sizeable organization, including 3+ years of proven experience in training and governing others in experimentation methodologies; OR 8+ years of direct experience without a degree
  • Experience weighing pragmatism against robust measurement to design and complete experiments, including A/B/n testing and pre-post analysis
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members and performing work through others
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, draw inferences from data, and use analysis skills to identify solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to deliver projects supporting multiple business partners
  • Experience conducting user research, including usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation, and field research
  • Applied understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, and user-centered design principles and practices
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Jira
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional team members and developing creative approaches to problem-solving
