About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with the Practice Operations leader to oversee daily practice operations
  • Coordinate operational and administrative tasks, including WQs and cash management
  • Act as liaison between providers, practice employees, and Access Center POD team members
  • Provide onsite oversight of processes, workflow execution, employee collaboration, and patient experience
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement across quality, patient satisfaction, and patient access
  • Ensure operational readiness for clinical and clerical operations
  • Update employee schedules and maintain supply inventory, office equipment, furnishings, and cleanliness
  • Facilitate daily huddles and update time management systems
  • Escalate and help resolve operational, technological, patient, and appropriate personnel issues
  • Support new-hire orientation and onboarding
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and timely performance feedback
  • Provide input into annual employee performance evaluations
  • Educate staff and providers about operational, technology, procedural, and policy changes
  • Perform other practice-role duties within qualifications as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two or more years of health care experience required
  • Experience in a medical practice operations role preferred
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Focused on compliance

  • Excels at time management
  • Ability to communicate to patients concisely and clearly
  • Ability to listen, express compassion and empathy, and communicate with a patient centric mindset
  • Standing and walking six hours per day, up to two hours sitting at a time

  • Occasionally uses upper extremities to lift up to 20 pounds; sometimes heavier
  • Ability to complete an application using full legal name and current home address
