About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage operations of assigned cardiovascular practices
  • Ensure successful practice operations and effective execution of operational workflows
  • Maintain a patient experience consistent with SLPG standards
  • Lead and manage direct reports across hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, development, and recognition
  • Ensure operational readiness for clinical and administrative operations, including schedules, supplies, equipment, cleanliness, daily huddles, time management systems, and Point of Care licensing
  • Manage workflow execution, employee collaboration, and overall patient experience
  • Partner with Billing/Coding, Facilities/Property Management, hospital departments, Access Center, and other organizational functions
  • Maintain connectivity with Access Center operations and centralized functions to support seamless operations
  • Escalate and address critical operational, technological, patient, and personnel issues
  • Achieve expected practice financial performance through expense management, resource utilization, volume growth, and financial best practices
  • Monitor practice performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop and implement multidisciplinary improvement strategies
  • Utilize practice leads to support oversight of workflows and processes
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and SLPG Access Governance Principles
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in health, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive office or practice operations management experience, including at least 2 years in a healthcare organization
  • Experience managing or supporting daily operations such as staffing coordination, scheduling, patient access, workflow management, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated experience leading large or complex practices, overseeing performance management, budgeting/financial operations, patient access, regulatory compliance, and service excellence
  • Strong business acumen
  • Skilled in all forms of communication
  • Effectively able to develop self and others
  • Leadership presence/EQ; presents as a composed and competent leader
