About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive medical services in practice and hospital settings
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine
- Adhere to approved standardized orders and practice guidelines
- Communicate with referring physicians, patients, and families
- Educate patients and families
- Evaluate and implement patient healthcare needs
- Manage treatment programs based on patient assessments
- Initiate treatment through prescriptions, diagnostic tests, examinations, and procedures
- Review laboratory results and plan appropriate actions
- Perform routine health maintenance activities
- Coordinate patient care and make referrals to other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with professionals, nurses, physicians, and outside agencies
- Coordinate family counseling with public and mental health agencies
- Teach wellness habits and educate patients on prevention and treatment
- Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and skills

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty
- MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
- Ability to perform required physical and sensory activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing, walking, standing, and therapeutic procedures
- Must complete application using full legal name and current home address
- Include employment history for the past seven years, including present employer
