About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete the 12-month Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program commencing 2 February 2027
- Work in a sub-acute hospital environment
- Deliver care across rehabilitation, medical and chronic pain management, palliative care, and geriatric medical services
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to contribute to patient-centred care
- Participate in rostered shifts across a 7-day week
- Receive structured mentorship, guidance and support from Clinical Nurses (Education), experienced preceptors and the Graduate Program Coordinator
- Consider specialty preferences and career goals when allocating placements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse prior to program commencement
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
- Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)
- Working rights in Australia
- Compliance with healthcare vaccine-preventable disease transmission requirements
- Current resume or CV
- Cover letter of no more than 2 pages addressing ability to meet role requirements
- ANSAT interim and final reports from current and previous placements
