About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete the 12-month Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program commencing February 2027
- Work in an acute hospital environment across perioperative or acute ward-based specialties
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in clinical practice across theatre, recovery, endoscopy, cardiac catheter laboratory, and acute ward specialties
- Receive guidance and mentorship from Clinical Nurses (Education), experienced preceptors, and the Graduate Program Coordinator
- Attend the optional online graduate program information session and participate in program learning and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse prior to program commencement
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
- Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)
- Must have working rights in Australia
- Must meet work health and safety requirements relating to vaccine-preventable diseases
- Current Resume or CV
- Cover letter of no more than 2 pages
- ANSAT interim and final reports from two most recent placements
