About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete the 12-month (52-week) Graduate Registered Nurse Program commencing 2 February 2027
- Work in a sub-acute hospital environment
- Provide care across rehabilitation, medical and chronic pain management, palliative care, and geriatric medical services
- Work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care
- Participate in rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts
- Engage in structured mentorship and support from Clinical Nurses (Education), experienced preceptors and the Graduate Program Coordinator
- Attend an optional online information session and participate in program-related learning and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse prior to program commencement
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
- Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)
- Must have working rights in Australia
- Must comply with work health and safety requirements relating to vaccine preventable diseases in healthcare settings
- Current resume or CV required
- Cover letter of no more than 2 pages addressing ability to meet the role requirements
- ANSAT interim and final reports from the most recent two placements required
