About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write product briefs, query live business data, and work increasingly close to code
Own design work from discovery through delivery
Make product decisions involving prioritization, tradeoffs, and scope with engineering and stakeholders
Understand workflows inside processing centers handling 1M+ pieces of mail and translate complexity into intuitive software
Hunt for data and customer opportunities using Stable's internal MCP, reports, and dashboards
Speak and test directly with users to understand pain points and needs
Balance intuition, data, and research to determine what to build, cut, and when to ship
Design product solutions using Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, Figma, or code
Partner with an engineering pod to deliver customer and business value
Contribute to and evolve the design system with reusable patterns
Design solutions bridging software interfaces and real-world operations
Explore AI, LLM, and generative technology workflows
Communicate with stakeholders across the company to maintain alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in product design at fast-moving companies
Experience as a product design generalist, including research, UI design, and systems thinking
Interest in emerging design tools and AI-assisted workflows
Strong project management skills and a track record of driving projects to completion
Excellent design foundations, including hierarchy, layout, typography, and interaction design
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to break down complex problems into clear, iterative milestones
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience at B2B companies preferred
Experience designing for physical real-world processes bonus
Familiarity with frontend code and component systems bonus
Required work samples link/portfolio
