About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research, identify, and onboard new brands, products, and deals
  • Research, identify, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturers
  • Manage the prospective merchant pipeline in Salesforce from initial outreach to close
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, volume discounts, and favorable terms
  • Build and maintain merchant relationships and secure exclusive deals
  • Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and market opportunities
  • Meet revenue, net profit, and sales activity KPIs
  • Track and analyze sales, profit, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop action plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities
  • Adjust product offerings based on performance metrics
  • Partner with Publisher Account Management, Merchandising, Operations, CRM, and Content teams
  • Use Salesforce, Looker, Google Analytics, Google Suite, and other sales-stack applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be U.S. based
  • 3+ years sourcing, buying, or managing deals in refurbished/renewed electronics, liquidation, or open-box inventory; OR 3+ years in digital product deals — SaaS/software licensing, app monetization partnerships, or membership/subscription products
  • Familiarity with daily-deal or flash-sale economics, including margin structures, promo cadence, and channel conflict
  • Experience canvassing and conducting cold outreach to new business prospects
  • Experience negotiating with director-level and above contacts
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in business consulting and selling/closing deals
  • Demonstrated success and results-oriented performance
  • Ability to close six-figure daily deal promotions
  • Proven ability to close deals in a dynamic environment
