About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate meetings and luncheons with pharmaceutical representatives
- Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks
- Follow up with the IRS regarding quarterly tax amounts when needed
- Coordinate calls with vendors and other businesses supporting practice operations
- Attend biweekly billing meetings to review patient reports and denied claims
- Communicate billing concerns, outstanding issues, and necessary follow-up to the practice owner
- Maintain ongoing contact with the billing team regarding inactive or lapsed insurance, coverage limitations, and benefit-related concerns
- Coordinate follow-through so insurance and billing issues are addressed promptly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience working in a U.S. medical practice or clinical administrative setting
- Hands-on experience submitting and tracking prior authorizations and speaking with insurance providers
- Ability to handle high-level administrative tasks, manage schedules, and support business operations
- Excellent spoken and written English, with a polished and professional phone manner
- Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Full-time availability for Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM EST and Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
- High-speed internet connection, power/internet backup, and a quiet home office setup
