About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the complete Stanley Black & Decker value strategy with key distribution partners
- Form strategic partnerships with assigned distribution partners
- Support inside and outside sales representatives in delivering power-tool and hand-tool jobsite solutions to end users
- Conduct sales calls at distribution partner locations
- Conduct joint end-user sales calls
- Merchandise branches to support sell-through and drive new-product awareness
- Own the territory and drive sales growth
- Drive the DEWALT brand through product knowledge sessions, local distribution events, and corporate initiatives
- Develop, plan, and execute sales and conversion plans
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize territory ROI
- Develop new business within the assigned region
- Manage budgets, communication, follow-up, and call reports
- Travel regularly across Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge, and the GTA using a company vehicle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education graduate
- 2–5 years’ experience in sales with demonstrated achievements and leadership
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Creativity and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP
- Passion for excellence
- B2B sales experience an asset
- Candidates in final recruitment stages must complete a background check, which may include criminal background, credit, and driver’s abstract checks
