About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals and objectives
- Sell DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with end-user partners through product and service solutions
- Manage CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs
- Teach and mentor the local market team on end-user development processes
- Coordinate with trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, and purchasing contacts
- Align efforts with local market teams, product managers, local distributors, and service centers
- Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives
- Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool
- Communicate successes and failures promptly to improve processes and develop key accounts and opportunities
- Travel 50% locally and 10% overnight within the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred; relevant construction field experience could be a substitute for higher education
- 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies, with a proven track record delivering results
- Experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Physical ability to travel up to 50% within the territory assignment and 10% overnight
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
