VP, Value Creation Strategy, Assessment

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and continuous evolution of the Value Assessment strategy and framework across the Tools & Outdoor business
- Establish methodologies, tools, and governance for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and quantifying enterprise value creation opportunities
- Partner with business leaders to identify strategic opportunities that improve growth, profitability, productivity, and operational performance
- Lead identification, evaluation, and prioritization of enterprise value creation opportunities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned to business priorities
- Develop business cases using financial analysis, operational insights, market intelligence, benchmarking, and cross-functional collaboration
- Present recommendations and investment cases to executive leadership
- Build and manage the enterprise portfolio of value creation opportunities
- Partner with Strategic Initiatives, PMO, Finance, and business leaders to transition prioritized opportunities into execution
- Monitor portfolio health and realization of anticipated business value
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership across the Tools & Outdoor business
- Develop partnerships across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Digital, and functional leadership teams
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and accelerate enterprise value creation
- Lead, coach, and develop the Value Assessment & Strategy organization
- Build organizational capability in strategic thinking, financial analysis, opportunity assessment, and executive communication
- Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Strategy, or a related field preferred
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, finance, transformation, business operations, or related disciplines within a complex global organization
- Demonstrated experience identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing strategic business opportunities through structured analysis, financial modeling, and business case development
- Proven ability to influence executive-level decision making through data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and effective communication
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience assessing investment opportunities, operational performance, and enterprise value creation initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across multiple business functions in a highly matrixed organization
- Demonstrated success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
