About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a daily column of in-person patients and communication before, during, and after appointments
- Adhere to the standard of care established by the Medical Director
- Establish patient relationships to ensure continuity of care
- Complete clinical tasks including vitals, intra-oral scans, oral photos, pharyngometer, and rhinometer
- Educate patients about treatment options and treatment plans
- Troubleshoot treatment plans during post-care appointments
- Conduct comprehensive patient passoffs to support medical and dental providers
- Send appropriately documented orders to labs
- Take detailed appointment notes and complete patient charts accurately and promptly
- Handle scheduling and patient payments
- Upload required documents into EMR software
Requirements
What you’ll need- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest in healthcare
- Ability to manage a patient schedule independently
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training and meetings
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours/week
- Ability to complete a Berke Assessment during the hiring process
