About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop partnership strategy and identify opportunities across brand collaborations, talent, ambassador programs, retail partnerships, licensed IP, and experiential and cultural moments
- Evaluate inbound requests from talent, agencies, brands, retailers, and potential partners
- Build and maintain relationships with talent, managers, agents, agencies, brands, and strategic partners
- Support negotiation and structuring of partnership, talent, and licensing deals with the SVP of Brand
- Draft and redline partnership and talent contracts and route agreements through Legal and VP approval
- Manage partnerships from signed agreement through launch, including communications, timelines, approvals, assets, and contractual deliverables
- Identify and address partnership risks, execution gaps, and missed deadlines
- Administer licensing agreement operations, partner approvals, product and asset requirements, line sheets, retail listing coordination, and post-launch reporting
- Maintain a repository of partnership terms, rates, rights, deliverables, performance, and renewal opportunities
- Own the collaboration and partnership calendar
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Creative, Social, Influencer, Product, Retail, Operations, Legal, and external partners
- Manage partnership and event budgets, vendors, invoices, and payments with Finance
- Build and share recap decks tracking deliverables, performance, outcomes, and learnings
- Set PR strategy and priorities with the agency and manage the relationship day to day
- Track agency deliverables and press coverage against the campaign calendar
- Support press releases, statements, messaging, and other materials
- Prepare leadership and spokespeople for interviews, podcasts, and media appearances
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience leading talent, brand, or entertainment partnerships from sourcing and deal development through execution
- Strong understanding of deal and licensing mechanics, including rights, economics, approvals, usage, exclusivity, and deliverables
- Genuine relationships and credibility across music, culture, entertainment, fashion, beauty, and talent circles
- Strong commercial judgment and contract, vendor, and budget management skills
- Experience managing or briefing an external PR agency and holding partners accountable to scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Ability to work confidently with talent, agents, managers, agencies, brand executives, vendors, and other senior external partners
- Highly organized and deadline-driven, with ability to manage multiple active deals, launches, budgets, events, and partner relationships simultaneously
- Ability to balance creative instincts with commercial and operational thinking
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable owning day-to-day execution in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and sharp instinct for relevant, differentiated, unmistakably Starface work
