Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, review, and enhance Compensation, Benefits, and Career policies, practices, and processes
  • Lead Organizational Design studies and projects by analyzing organizational structures, levels, spans of control, headcount, and opportunities for efficiency and growth
  • Conduct Job and Salary analyses, ensuring internal consistency, external competitiveness, and alignment with market practices and trends
  • Conduct and interpret salary surveys, benchmarks, and market studies, turning data into recommendations for decision-making
  • Work with job evaluation and job weighting methodologies, conducting analyses of job placement and positioning within the organizational structure
  • Develop analyses and simulations related to fixed and variable compensation, including financial scenarios and budget impacts
  • Manage and evolve Short-Term Incentive programs, including bonuses, profit-sharing, commissions, and commercial incentive programs
  • Support the design and management of Long-Term Incentive programs, including Stock Options, Phantom Shares, and deferred bonuses
  • Conduct Executive Compensation studies, supporting analyses of positioning, competitiveness, and retention strategies
  • Ensure the correct application of compensation policies in salary adjustments, promotions, hiring, and other decisions related to job structures
  • Prepare compensation studies and analyses to support managers and leaders in decision-making
  • Serve as a liaison with internal teams, specialized partners, consulting firms, and vendors
  • Support matters related to profit-sharing and labor union negotiations, considering technical, legal, and market aspects
  • Participate in the development and evolution of the Total Rewards strategy, connecting compensation, benefits, recognition, and the employee value proposition
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Benefits strategy, focusing on competitiveness, financial sustainability, and employee experience
  • Prepare executive presentations and supporting materials for leadership forums and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Compensation, preferably in roles with greater complexity and strategic scope
  • Experience with Job and Salary structures, Organizational Design, and Organizational Structures
  • Experience with Variable Compensation, including bonuses, profit-sharing, commissions, and incentive programs
  • Knowledge of or experience with Long-Term Incentives, such as Stock Options, Phantom Shares, and/or deferred bonuses
  • Experience with salary surveys, benchmarks, and market competitiveness analyses
  • Knowledge of job evaluation and job weighting methodologies, such as Hay, Mercer, Towers Watson/WTW, or similar
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and labor union negotiations, particularly on compensation and profit-sharing matters
  • Experience in Benefits management and strategy, as well as Total Rewards concepts
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build analyses, models, and simulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data and scenarios
  • Clear, objective, and executive-level written and verbal communication
  • Ability to translate technical topics into understandable recommendations for different audiences
  • Consultative profile with strong business acumen, autonomy, prioritization skills, and ability to influence
  • Experience with Executive Compensation will be considered a significant advantage
