About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership for the architecture and evolution of the AI agent platform
- Develop orchestration, tool integration, and knowledge retrieval solutions
- Establish practices for evaluating, monitoring, and continuously improving agent quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Ensure security, governance, traceability, and data isolation across solutions
- Advance the team’s engineering practices by promoting specification-driven development and the structured use of coding agents
- Work on the Orbit product
- Join a company that develops and delivers SaaS solutions for construction, legal intelligence, operational efficiency, governance, and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in TypeScript or solid experience with another typed language, with the ability to adapt quickly
- Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems and production APIs
- Hands-on experience with AI agents and LLMs in production, including tool calling, context management, and behavioral evaluation
- Strong command of AI-assisted engineering practices, including specifications, testing, critical review, and incremental delivery
- Ability to make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and take technical ownership of solutions
- Autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to handle complex problems and ambiguous requirements
- Experience with NestJS, hexagonal architecture, and protocols such as MCP is a plus
- Experience with observability, evaluation, and security for LLM-based systems is a plus
- Experience with B2B SaaS, multi-tenancy, and Brazil’s LGPD is a plus
- Experience developing internal tools and frameworks to accelerate engineering teams is a plus
