About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Identify callers’ needs and provide appropriate assistance or route calls to the appropriate individual
  • Gather accurate information from callers
  • Provide general licensing status information and requirements to customers
  • Review LEIDS, Customer Functional Database, associated software, online systems, websites, statutory laws, and rules to respond to customer inquiries
  • Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate individual or section
  • Research Massage Transcripts and General Mail
  • Upload documents and respond to and distribute emails
  • Perform various administrative tasks supporting the Boards of Osteopathic Medicine, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, and Council of Licensed Midwifery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
  • Ability to learn job-specific software
  • Strong data organization skills
  • Effective communication
  • Ability to work independently within established schedules
  • Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities
  • Security background check and/or drug screening
  • Participation in direct deposit
  • Ability to learn and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in English
  • Successful completion of Form I-9 and E-Verify employment eligibility verification
  • Male applicants born on or after October 1, 1962, must be registered with the Selective Services System before their 26th birthday or have a Letter of Registration Exemption
