About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure payments comply with state laws, department rules, and privacy standards
- Enter and verify financial records using multiple accounting systems and software
- Review and audit invoices, vouchers, and other documents for accuracy and proper approval
- Prepare reports and reconcile financial records
- Support staff, vendors, and auditors as needed
- Complete training, assist with year-end closing, and handle special projects or other duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or its equivalent AND three years of experience in administrative work, accounting, or auditing
- OR four years of post-secondary education
- Official transcripts required if selected when submitting a college/university degree
- Must pass a Level 2 background check before starting work
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- FDC does not currently support H-1B visa sponsorship
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated through the application, education, work experience, work sample, interview, and/or reference checks
