Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, and support applications using Java and JVM-based technologies
Develop and integrate microservices and APIs
Work with Spring Boot and Node.js in distributed solutions
Participate in defining and implementing technical solutions focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability
Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Contribute to CI/CD processes, continuous integration, and automated deployment
Develop and maintain unit tests, applying TDD and BDD
Participate in teams using agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Contribute to the evolution of DevOps practices and software quality
Work with public and private cloud environments
Ensure best practices and maintain code that is readable, testable, secure, and easy to maintain

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in software engineering
Relevant experience with Java and/or JVM-based languages
Experience developing and operating systems using Java, microservices, and APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js)
Knowledge of service containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift
Knowledge of DevOps tools including Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, and StarTeam
Knowledge of continuous integration, automated deployment, and unit testing
Knowledge of TDD, BDD, and the Scrum agile methodology
Knowledge of private and public cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Commitment to writing code that is readable, well-tested, and easy to maintain
Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
