Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Implement scalable, secure, and highly available REST APIs
Build and evolve microservices-based architectures
Develop integrations between internal systems and corporate platforms
Participate in defining technical solutions and making architectural decisions
Ensure code quality through development best practices and code reviews
Implement unit tests and support automated testing strategies
Analyze and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to delivery planning and execution
Drive continuous improvements in application architecture, performance, and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
Strong software engineering experience, with relevant experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages
Experience developing and operating systems using Java, microservices, and APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js)
Knowledge of service containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift)
Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, and StarTeam)
Experience with continuous integration, automated deployment, unit testing, TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum)
Knowledge of private and public cloud environments: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Commitment to writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
Collaborative and proactive professional with strong written and verbal communication skills
A Dell i7 computer with 32 GB of RAM is recommended
