About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop QA and testing professionals
- Provide technical mentoring, career development, ongoing training, and talent retention
- Define and evolve quality standards, frameworks, processes, and best practices
- Lead and structure the QA/Testing Center of Excellence (COE)
- Ensure teams stay up to date with best practices, tools, and market trends
- Build and monitor the discipline’s technical roadmap
- Promote Quality Engineering and Shift-Left Testing strategies
- Encourage the advancement of test automation and the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Support the adoption and evolution of SAI App 3.0
- Support team allocation, capacity planning, and sizing strategies
- Work in partnership with Client Faces, clients, leaders, and other stakeholders
- Foster a culture of continuous quality, automation, and defect prevention
- Serve as a technical and people leader in Software Quality, Testing, and Automation
- Develop professionals, strengthen capabilities, establish quality standards, and drive the evolution of testing practices
- Define strategies, governance, and professional allocation according to the needs of each project and client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience defining and implementing testing strategies
- Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) testing
- Experience with Shift-Left practices and quality throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and/or RestAssured
- Experience with automation and API testing
- Knowledge of performance and load testing using JMeter and/or k6
- Experience implementing Quality Gates in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams and technical professionals
- Ability to define standards and frameworks and lead technical quality governance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with clients and Client Faces
- Experience with pricing and developing technical proposals
- Experience sizing projects and QA teams, taking into account effort estimates, seniority, skills, and team composition
- Knowledge of and experience with Artificial Intelligence applied to Testing and Quality
- AI-assisted test case generation
- Test data creation and generation
- Accelerating automation with AI support
- AI-assisted defect analysis and identification
- Advanced English or Spanish proficiency
